The Southern Resonance Roots Festival Announcement
On Sunday Sept 7, 2025, fourteen (14) American Roots musicians from around the Carolinas will perform
at the inaugural Southern Resonance Roots Festival in Charlotte, NC.
With live music from noon to 7:30pm on 2 stages, this event is open to all ages and presented free of
charge by the Charlotte Blues Society with sponsorship from Bojangles.
You are invited to join them for this Live Roots and Blues music event featuring a variety of styles from
Blues-Rock to Acoustic. Headliners are the Lenny Federal Band, and the Pam Taylor Band, with
performances by Melissa McKinney, the Fool Hardies, Mojo Stomp, Misti Mayhem, Jackson Slater, Andy
Kushner, Will Ellis & Lynnette Barber Duo, Susanne Smith, the Pszenny Project, and the Blues Nomads
with support from Deja Blues and the Rockaholics. The festival is hosted at Heist Brewery & Barrel Arts,
1030 Woodward Ave (Camp North End) in Charlotte, NC 28206. They will host an open blues jam in the
Skyline Room after the last act.
There will be musician’s meet and greet, raffles, festival merch, artisan market, food and beverage, with
free parking. Donations and tips for the artists will be appreciated. The festival will be Rain or Shine.

Charlotte Blues Society is a local non-profit dedicated to the promotion and preservation of American
Blues. They are an affiliate of the Blues Foundation. They normally meet the First Sunday of the month
from 6 to 10PM at Heist Brewery.
